Christina and David are waiting to welcome a child into their heart and home through open adoption. Learn more about them!
Dear Birth Family,
Hello! Thank you for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your child. We hope that in the pages that follow, you find that we can be exceptional parents to your child.
We want you to know that your child will be raised in a happy, nurturing home, and that they will know that their birth mother, out of all other possibilities, selected us to raise them. We know that this is a tremendously difficult decision for you, and we hope that as you learn more about us, the decision is made somewhat easier.
We hope that we will have the opportunity to raise your child in a home filled with love and laughter where they can discover their own gifts, personality, and potential.
Thank you again for taking a look at our profile. We hope to meet you soon!
Christina and David
About Us
We met our freshman year of college on the east coast in a mutual class. We spent all of our freshman year instant messaging each other and taking long walks around campus. We started dating fall of our sophomore year and tied the knot 6 years later in September 2013.
Our wedding was intimate, with just immediate family and friends in attendance. We have been married 5 blissful years and cannot wait to embrace whatever the future holds together.
Our favorite date spots include sushi, the zoo, and watching ice hockey.
We have been a couple for nearly 12 years. We have a solid bond and strong foundation that have been tempered by growing pains, life’s challenges and beautiful experiences. We are best friends and each other’s primary support.
Christina’s Thoughts on David
David is the most caring, tender and compassionate person I know. He is a constant support and attentive partner. David is a great active listener and genuinely interested in caring for other people.
One of my favorite qualities about David is his ever-present calming nature. He is a great bug killer and is the one who gets out of our warm bed in the cold mornings to walk the dogs so I can sleep more. He is ever committed to me and our marriage. Plus, he is really cute. 🙂
David’s Thoughts on Christina
Christina is the most driven person that I know. She helps to make me a better person every day. She listens with an open heart and an open mind and is always quick to help find a solution to any problem.
One of my favorite parts of Christina is how when she is with family – she embraces them with her love without any reservation. That and her mischievous smile when she decides to be silly and spontaneous.
Jesse
Breed: Border Collie mix
Age: 4 years old
Fun fact: Jesse loves playing catch in our backyard, making sure we get up in the morning once our alarms go off, and cuddling with anything soft and fuzzy. He is our energetic puppy.
Chubbs
Breed: Catahoula leopard mix
Age: 13 years old
Fun Fact: Chubbs loves food, being the last one out of bed in the morning, and the first one in bed at night. He takes his role as a glorified lap dog very seriously.
Our Home
We live in a cozy home located in the suburbs of Chicago. Our home is blocks away from the train station and downtown area (which includes an ice cream store and Starbucks). Our dogs love to run around our huge, fenced-in backyard. We are walking distance from the local elementary and middle schools. Our district includes some of the best schools in the area.

Meet Christina’s Family
Christina comes from a tight-knit, supportive family. Her siblings, Chris and Alexis, both live minutes away (so close that your child will go to the same schools as their cousins). Her siblings are excited to be an aunt and uncle to your child!
Christina’s Mother and stepfather live on the East Coast and visit regularly. Christina loves to visit them and enjoy the ocean and fresh seafood.
Christina is also a proud, active aunt of 2 nephews. Christina and David spend Saturdays with Christina’s family doing group activities like visiting the zoo, fall festivals, the apple orchard, the farmer’s market, public ice skates, and the children’s museum.
